Diamond Chain Sawing

Chain choice depends on your saw's bar length and drive, so we list chains in 10", 12" and 13" lengths for the common hydraulic, gas and pneumatic chain saws. A chain sized for another machine will not tension correctly and will destroy itself and the bar. Give us your saw model and we will match the chain.

Sprockets are machine-specific, not universal. We carry sprockets for ICS 695-F4, 814Pro, 823, 853, 880-F4, 890 and 890 Flush Cut, Husqvarna K950 / K960 / K970 and K6500, Stihl GS461 Rock Boss, RGC SS15 and RedZaw RZ60. Order by your exact saw model, and replace the sprocket when you fit a new chain so the drive teeth wear together.

Both are 25-series diamond chains but they are built for different work. xForce4 is the general-purpose choice for reinforced concrete and block. TwinPro carries a heavier diamond load for harder, more abrasive material and longer production cuts. If you cut a mix of material all day, xForce4 is usually the more economical chain.

Yes. Diamond chain is the standard tool for heavily reinforced concrete, and it will cut straight through rebar without you having to reposition. That is its main advantage over a ring saw or hand saw for deep square openings and corner cuts.

Yes, water is required. It cools the diamond segments, flushes slurry out of the cut and controls silica dust for OSHA compliance. Running a diamond chain dry will overheat the segments and end the chain's life quickly.
