Universal Magnetic Plates

It bolts to your floor grinder's head and holds diamond tooling magnetically, so a grit change takes seconds instead of unbolting segments. It also lets one machine run tooling from a common trapezoid or round-segment format rather than only its own OEM parts.

Lavina®, HTC®, Husqvarna®, Diamatic®, SASE®, Prepmaster®, Skanmaskin®, Innovatech™, Onfloor®, Eagle®, DITEQ®, Gran Quartz, B&W® and grinding-head machines. These are World Diamond Source plates built to fit those grinders, not OEM parts.

From 5-3/4" up to 16", including 6", 7", 7.5", 8", 9", 9-1/2", 10", 10-1/2", 11-1/2", 12.5" and 16". Plate size is set by your machine's head, not by preference, so order by machine and model rather than by diameter alone.

Go by make and model, including the machine's size number, because manufacturers use different plates across their own range. Tell us the grinder you are running and we will confirm the exact plate before you order rather than after.

Magnetic plates hold standard trapezoid and round-segment tooling firmly under normal grinding load, provided the segment's backing is a magnetic format and the plate face is clean. Grit, dust and coating residue between the tool and the plate are what cause a segment to walk. Wipe the plate face at every change and check the tools are seated before you start the machine.
