V-Notch Wall Saw Blades

The notch cut into the segment reduces the amount of diamond contacting the concrete at any moment, so the blade concentrates pressure and cuts more aggressively. That makes V-notch segments the choice for hard, heavily reinforced concrete where a standard segment slows down. On soft or lightly reinforced concrete a standard segment will usually last longer.

42", 48", 54", 63" and 72", each available in .187", .220" and .250" kerf. All of them are 1" arbor with a 6-pin drive. These are our Pro wall saw blades, and we stock the full matrix, so you can match diameter and kerf independently.

A wall saw blade cuts a little under half its diameter once the blade guard and flange are accounted for, so a 48" blade is roughly a 21" to 22" cut and a 72" blade gets you into the low 30s. Wall thickness, not blade diameter, is what you should be shopping by. Tell us the thickness and we will tell you the blade.

Thinner kerf removes less material and asks less of the saw, so it is faster and cheaper per foot where the concrete allows it. Go thicker for deep cuts, hard aggregate and heavily reinforced walls, where the extra core stiffness keeps the blade tracking straight instead of wandering or binding in the cut.

They are 1" arbor with a 6-pin drive, which covers the common hydraulic and electric wall saws, but flange and pin patterns do vary by machine. Give us your saw make and model and we will confirm the mount before you order rather than after.
